Living nearby, I often find myself walking into Kew Gardens. Sometimes it is only a brief visit; other times I spend an entire afternoon moving slowly with a camera. With repeated returns, I’ve become more attentive to subtle and gradual shifts — seasonal changes in light, mist forming in humid air, variations in colour, and brief moments of stillness after visitors pass through. These photographs feel closer to an ongoing act of looking and recording. Arranged by season, they attempt to hold on to moments that are easily overlooked, yet quietly shape the memory of the place.
